THE FUTURE OF ENERGY IS
LOCAL

We’re a not-for-profit community energy business. We tackle climate change through clean energy generation, energy efficiency measures in homes and support for community projects.

  • Community renewables

Through investment from members, we develop renewable energy projects in Bath and the surrounding area.

  • Community benefit

Surplus income is reinvested in local community projects reducing carbon emissions and addressing fuel poverty.

  • Home energy

Making our homes more energy efficient – through retrofit – reduces energy demand and protects the planet. Our Home Energy service makes the process easier.

  • why invest in community energy?

Come and meet us on Saturday 11th October at the Museum of Bath at Work with guest speakers Jen Gale, talking about imperfect eco actions that collectively can change the world and Sonya Bedford and Pete Capener explaining the revolutionary power of Community Energy and how you can get involved.

  • Two hours that could change your home (and your bills)

Join us on Tuesday 14th October, 7-9pm at Keynsham Community Space

    - Discover simple, low or no-cost energy saving tips that really work

    - Learn how to cut your bills, save money and reduce your carbon footprint

    - Explore bigger home improvements and get advice directly from local experts and support organisations.

  • Save 70% on Home Energy Assessments

Residents in Bath & North East Somerset can access 70% discount vouchers from Retrofit West to use on our home energy assessments. Each household is eligible for up to two vouchers (one per assessment), which are valid across our range of surveys. We’ll even apply for the vouchers on your behalf.
